Let's get inspired for Spring!

With winter officially over, we’re already thinking about how to create perfect little springtime scenes for ourselves at home while getting excited about the warmer weather and lighter days. 

Time to head into our gardens, patios and balconies to greet the sun and the lighter, brighter days. Outdoor dining feels more tempting than ever, with plenty of delicious alfresco moments to be found at home. 

Indulge for the sake of indulging with a decadent springtime picnic. Get outside with a blanket and whatever you can find in the kitchen. Add solar fairy lights and solar lanterns then let the sun do all the work. As the evening draws in you can watch the magic happen as your lights start to glow. Perfect for taking your event from dawn to dusk! Pour yourself a glass of something fizzy, and enjoy the return of the sun after so many months being cooped up indoors.

Sprucing up for springtime may be a normal part of many of our calendars, but this year we think our homes warrant a little more! Treat yourself to some wow factor in your garden and home this spring. One can never have to many lights. After all, decorating for the seasons doesn’t have to just mean Christmas.

Adding a springtime wreath to your front door will also bring a touch of cheer. Decorate with copper wire lights in either battery or solar powered options. 

Or dress your porch or entranceway with outdoor lanterns.  

Wrap your bushes, hedges and trees in strings of fairy or net lights and watch them sparkle in the evenings.

Use calming, natural colours where possible. A soft linen tablecloth on a garden table, or place a cosy blanket over a bench to snuggle into when the sun goes down. Surround yourself with twinkling lights: the perfect way to welcome in the new season.
