SkyCity Summer Garden – Bringing Auckland's Ultimate Summer Pop-Up to Life

For three months each summer, the base of Auckland's iconic Sky Tower is transformed into SkyCity Summer Garden – a vibrant outdoor destination where people come together to enjoy great food, refreshing drinks, live entertainment and long summer evenings in the heart of the CBD.

Creating the right atmosphere was essential. The vision was to recreate the relaxed feeling of a classic Kiwi backyard, where people could unwind, socialise and soak up the season.

Working directly with the project electrician, we recommended our Premium Drop Hang Festoon Lights to frame the space and create the warm, inviting ambience the designers were looking for. Suspended overhead throughout the venue, the lights helped define the outdoor area while adding character, warmth and a welcoming glow as day turned to night.
