Coldplay – Music of the Spheres World Tour, Eden Park

When Coldplay kicked off their Music of the Spheres World Tour at Eden Park in November 2024, expectations were high. Renowned for spectacular visual performances, every detail needed to create a memorable guest experience from the moment fans arrived.

Love Your Lights was approached to help transform a plain concrete entrance wall into a stunning feature installation that would set the tone before concertgoers even entered the stadium.

Working with the Eden Park events team, the brief was clear: create an eye-catching display while providing a versatile lighting solution that could be reused for future concerts, sporting fixtures and hospitality events.

The perfect solution was our Pro Series Fairy Curtain Lights.

With their commercial-grade construction, IP65 weatherproof rating and connectable design, the lights were ideal for a permanent outdoor installation. Twenty sets were connected together to create an impressive 60-metre-wide display with a beautiful 3-metre cascading drop, while more than 8,000 Warm White LEDs transformed an otherwise blank concrete wall into an unforgettable entrance feature.

Built with heavy-duty UV-resistant rubber cabling and designed for New Zealand conditions, the Pro Series Curtain Lights delivered the durability Eden Park required while creating the wow factor every major event deserves.

The installation proved so successful that the lights have become a permanent feature.

As the Event Manager put it:

"We LOVE our Lights! Our patrons take their photos with the wall of lights—it's become a real feature."

Originally installed for Coldplay, the lighting is now used for every major concert held at Eden Park, proving that investing in quality commercial lighting delivers value long after the headline act has left the stage.
